Installation on a Tablet

9/16/2014

Does anyone have a tablet and have installed a software package? I have a Samsung Galaxy tablet and received a note that I need to install the software package that was downloaded. As far as I can tell, I never downloaded anything from Samsung. It must have come automatically. Also, there are a lot of warnings to be sure not to stop the installation before it is finished. I could lose some of my data. Also, it is a 744 MB installation. That seem extremely large to me. Also, it mentions that settings could be changed, some things would go back to default and icons might not be there. Any suggestions on how to handle this.

Barbara, a little more information would be helpful. What is the name of the program?

Can you bring your tablet in on Thursday and perhaps after the session, someone can take a look and see what the program is. I have a Samsung phone and it is set up to automatically update, which is the default. I just let it do it's updates. If you not changed any default settings, then most likely the application is not from Samsung, but without more information, cannot be sure.
