standing COMMITTEES
Club needs are served by various standing committees through volunteers. Serving on the different committees can either be voluntary or by appointment. Committee chairpersons are named by the President. If you would like to join in some fun and fellowship and offer your expertise, experience, or personal touches to our club, please volunteer. Senior Surfers are always looking for good people.
From time to time, ad hoc committees are formed to further meet the needs of the club. Each year in January, the President names a Chairman to the Nominations Committee to provide oversight of the annual election. When the need arises, the President names a Bylaws Committee chairman to provide oversight to changes to the club bylaws. Other ad hoc committees may be formed when necessary.
Below are the Standing Committees and their scope of responsibilities.
